Summary: A short story about a mother cat, her kittens and a pup.
During a storm, a mother cat takes shelter with her kittens under a porch. What is unusual is that this cat also has a puppy with her babies. The mother cat found him near his mother, a deceased dog, and immediately adopted him, saving his life. The puppy finds his new mother warm but he finds his brothers and sisters strange. They don't have the same ears as him, they lick themselves very often and they meow instead of barking. The storm continues and the mother cat keeps all her babies warm. Her kittens and her pup.
